Welcome to our corner of chaos, comedy, and chords this is Pootie and the Saltfish.

We’re a five-piece rock band from sweet T&T, but we’re not your typical rockers. We’ve created our own sub-genre called TriniGlad a blend of local flavour, comedic honesty, and pure musical energy. Think rock but with roti, rum, and real talk.

The lineup? We’ve got Pootie (Chung) on vocals, who believes music should make you feel something even if you’re laughing through heartbreak. On guitar, Christian “Cheese” Rambisson, who shreds with a smile and a side of madness. Our groove guru Devin Harry Paul holds down the bass, Allan Lalla keeps the keys colorful and wild, and SWAG (Stuart Wallace Anthony Gillezeau) is the heartbeat on drums.

We started this as a joke. Seriously. One day we were jamming to a Hootie & the Blowfish song, and SWAG (mid-phone call) said he was “at band practice with Pootie and the Saltfish.” The name stuck because it was hilarious, and honestly, who doesn’t love a good Trini saltfish?

But somewhere between the jokes, the vibes, and the rehearsal room chaos, we found something real. Our songs speak truths some uncomfortable, some emotional, most hilarious. Whether it’s “Gyro and a Drop Home” or “Fake Love”, we say what people wish they could say out loud. No metaphors, no filters, just vibes.

We’re not here to confuse you with rock. We’re here to invite you in. To take what you love about local music, and blend it with the unapologetic energy of live guitars, real lyrics, and a whole lot of Trini soul.

Every performance is an experience raw, fun, a little off-key at times, and proudly unpolished. We make music for people who’ve had a bad day and just want to laugh, jump, or sing about it.
